#1 ORDER YOUR PARTS AND FILAMENT

Do this before you print anything.

A full airframe can take days of printer time. Electronics and carbon spars take roughly as long to arrive. Order on day one and the two happen in parallel.

Filament

What How much Used for
Lightweight foaming filament (PLA Aero or LW-PLA) ~1 kg Fuselage, wings, elevons, nose cone
PETG ~250 g Spar plates, mounts, hardware interfaces

Carbon spars

Order 2m lengths, if possible. It cuts waste to almost nothing and costs just a bit more to deliver.

Order Cuts into Left over
2m × 8mm pultruded Rear fuselage spar + both wing spars 50mm
2m × 14mm woven Front fuselage spar + both VTOL spars 760mm
1m × 6mm pultruded Both elevon spars 300mm

The 8mm rod has 50mm of margin across three cuts.

Measure twice, mark all three cuts before you cut any of them, and allow for the width of your blade. The full cut list is in #3 Assemble the Airframe.
